Caregiving is chock full of challenges, and sometimes the weight feels even heaver if you’re an only child. It’s important to remember, though, that having a wide range of feelings about the situation is completely normal. AND, you really don’t have to walk this path by yourself.

Mom had another good day. I received pictures of her eating a sandwich at lunchtime, and eating dinner by herself (with a fork) this evening. It looks like we’ll definitely have something extra special celebrate on her birthday in a couple of days!
