Central Ohio: FREE Memory Screenings – Nov 13

Folks in the central Ohio area:

The Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association will offer free memory screenings on November 13th in their office. Dr. Douglas Scharre and members of his staff from The Ohio State University Memory Disorders Clinic will be available to grade the self-administered SAGE test. The SAGE test is a cognitive screening instrument used to detect mild cognitive impairment and early dementia.

Free Long-Term Care Insurance Workshop – May 22

An opportunity to hear Dr. Freidenberg speak – THIS Friday, May 4.

If you are local and have an interest, I highly recommend attending this event on Friday, May 4.  Dr. Freidenberg is a leading Central Ohio neurologist specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and it is absolutely fascinating to hear him speak on these topics.  We are also extremely blessed to have him as my mom’s neurologist.

This luncheon/lecture is part of the Caregiver Support Series sponsored by The Central Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dr. Donald Freidenberg presents “Understanding Behaviors That We Find Challenging”. Lunch at 11:30AM and Program at 11:45AM. Lunch and lecture $5. Professionals requiring CEU’s $10 Respite care available by reservation. To register please call 457-6003 or kwhite@alz.org.
