Yesterday, I had the pleasure of speaking with Gary Joseph LeBlanc regarding his fantastic Alzheimer’s/Dementia Hospital Wristband Project. I would urge you to read today’s piece on the Alzheimer’s Resource blog and help spread the word. Gary’s project not only ensures that hospital staff members are aware of prior dementia diagnoses in patients, but it addresses the critical need for specialized training for medical personnel, volunteers, and first responders.
