I recently received an invitation – from the great folks at A Place for Mom and Caregivers.com – to contribute as a guest blogger!

Not only was I extremely flattered, but I was thrilled to have an opportunity to reach out to a larger audience. My primary reason for creating A Long and Winding Road was to touch the hearts of others traveling the Alzheimer’s journey. Thank you, Dana (A Place for Mom), for helping me to do just that!

An opportunity to hear Dr. Freidenberg speak – THIS Friday, May 4.

If you are local and have an interest, I highly recommend attending this event on Friday, May 4.  Dr. Freidenberg is a leading Central Ohio neurologist specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and it is absolutely fascinating to hear him speak on these topics.  We are also extremely blessed to have him as my mom’s neurologist.

This luncheon/lecture is part of the Caregiver Support Series sponsored by The Central Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dr. Donald Freidenberg presents “Understanding Behaviors That We Find Challenging”. Lunch at 11:30AM and Program at 11:45AM. Lunch and lecture $5. Professionals requiring CEU’s $10 Respite care available by reservation. To register please call 457-6003 or kwhite@alz.org.
