The Long and Winding Road... 
Thanks so much for sharing a tribute to Maya Angelou. She was an inspiration to so many of us, and a model for me. I met her at Glide Church in San Francisco, when she was participating in a fund raiser. She read “Phenomenal Woman.” She was a phenomenal woman, and now rests in our hearts.

Anne, the world was certainly a better place because of Dr. Angelou. I feel blessed to have attended one of her speaking events years ago. I’m sure you’ll forever treasure the memory of meeting her. What an experience that must have been!

Yes it is, Ann. It was a treasure. She radiated strength and positive energy. Her presence was powerful, and I could have listened to her read for hours!
