Update 06.16.13

Mr. Mulligan was found in an attic area of the nursing home unharmed.

Police are searching for an elderly man who went missing from a nursing home.

Police say Lawrence Mulligan, 85, walked away from Marcella Nursing and Rehabilitation located at 2305 Rancocas Road around 4 p.m. Saturday.

Mulligan suffers with dementia, cardiovascular disease and has a history of strokes, according to police. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes.

If you see Mulligan, you are asked to contact Burlington Township Police at 609-386-2019.

Florida Silver Alert – Please Read and Cross Post

UPDATE:

Jackson Sheriff Lou Roberts reports that Hayes Louis Dickens was found Monday night in a remote part of Calhoun County, approximately 4 miles southeast of Altha.

Earlier in the evening, a caller reported a suspicious vehicle matching the description of Dickens’, that had apparently gotten stuck near a creek bank.

A helicopter unit searching around the vehicle’s location spotted Dickens shortly before dark. He had abandoned his vehicle and was traveling on foot close to a nearby wooded area.

Roberts said Dickens was okay, but appeared lethargic, very dehydrated and had suffered numerous bug bites. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
